Why is this the best BLT in the world?

The West Hawaii Hockey team has risen from obscurity like the volcanos that fill this land of paradise. As the only outer island ice hockey team in the state, and the only rink a $200 round trip flight away, the WHH team competes in the annual Hawaiian Classic tournament held on Oahu every April. A rag tag combination of locals, expat Canucks, and way over the hill hasbeens the WHH boys battle the toughest adversity to a hockey team; NO ICE!

Why we deserve to win the Westy?

One thing the WHH team has learned is that paradise isn’t perfect….the WHH entered its tenure at the Hawaiian classic tournament at the bottom floor “D” division and has become the only team in the long history of the tournament to advance by winning to the “A” division. With two titles in the last 3 years the WHH team is poised to become a beer league dynasty. Oh, and you should see the faces of our opponents when they lose to a team who skates on ice once a year.
